When St. Thomas died, his earthly work was complete but the promulgation of his teachings had just begun. It would be nearly 300 years before he was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church, and over 600 years before his teachings were formally adopted as the official philosophical framework of the Church. 

Truth is, you are one of the first people in the history of the world to have been blessed by St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. 

It’s like being a student of St. Thomas Aquinas in the years immediately following his death. Like those students, we are inheritors of an incredible teaching that shines light on the truth and beauty of our faith. But like those students, we have much work to do before the master’s teachings become part of the fabric of the Church. 

That’s why we’re called the St. John Paul II Legacy Foundation. Our organization exists to spread the Theology of the Body and transform the lives of the faithful not just for this generation, but for generations to come.
